Practice Principal
After almost a decade in professional sport with the Newcastle Knights, Phil brings the same approach and knowledge to the people of Newcastle. A mantra Phil always approaches his physiotherapy with is what can a person do, not what can’t do to get back to their best.

Tori is currently working as Newcastle Knights NRLW Physiotherapist for the 2024 season, thrilled to work with elite athletes and aid in their rehabilitation journey.
Along with her high level Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy experience Tori has worked in the field of Neurological Rehabilitation.
Tori has completed her level 1 and 2 dry needling courses and can integrate this technique into her practice.
Tori’s special interests include: field sport athletes, female athletes, runners, CrossFit enthusiasts, and general gym-goers.

Ashlee is an experienced physiotherapist who worked in the NSW public health system for over 14 years prior to joining the Portside Sports Physio Team.
She brings a wealth of experience in her special interest areas:
- Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
- Hand therapy, including splinting, for paediatrics and adults
- Chronic pain management for adults, adolescents and young children
- Postnatal and pregnancy related musculoskeletal pain
